Welcome to our blog

Hello from Town House Films. We have launched this blog so that our thousands of customers and friends around the world can catch up with all our latest news. You will be able to see eclsuive pictures from upcoming productions and we also will keep you posted on the  activities of the many artists we work with.

This is us on location for our fourth DVD with the wonderful watercolour and pastel painter John Tookey. From lefty to right - Steve Thorpe, camerman extroadinaire who has filmed all our 32 DVDs to date, me - Malcolm Allsop, founder of the company and director of all our films, John Tookey and Dr Robin Macdonald, himself a talented watercolour painter and associate producer of many of our DVD titles.

Here's another location shot, this time  from Watercolour Weekend with Hazel Soan on a rather chilly pier at Cromer in North Norfolk. Hazel was painting people on the pier but got buzzed by a flock of hang gliders - so she just painted them.

Here's another on location shot featuring the delightful watercolourist John Hoar taken while filming Simplyfying Watercolour at Blakeney on the North Norfolk Coast.

And from our range of artist's studio based DVDs here's Jo, the lovely wife of Peter Wileman, President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters helping out with the clapper board as we shoot his latest DVD Inspirational Oil Landscapes.
Lots more posts to come in the coming days. Don't forget you can view free  trailers for all our DVDs and buy them fom us direct on our web site http://www.townhousefilms.co.uk/ We ship from China to Brazil - and everywhere in between and all post free!
