A Great Welsh Painter

My all-time painting hero is the late Sir Kyffin Williams RA who painted his native Wales and its people with such  love and empathy that he is now rightly seen as the greatest painter to emerge from Wales in the last 100 years.  BBC viewers in Wales were able last year to see a wonderful programme - part of a short series - in which Rolf Harris explored Kyffin the man and the artist and attempted  a portrait using only Kyffin's trademark palette knife.  Rolf was a frined of Kyffin and admired him greatly .  Now viewers outside Wales can see a nine minute extract from the programme which I heartily commend to you.
